Threats to key facilities and infrastructure are constantly evolving and Homeland Security has to keep pace with these. Military locations are no longer the only targets of opportunity – current threats are often directed at economic or strategic targets. It is therefore vital that a solution provides protection for a nation’s land and coastal borders. Specific protection also needs to include key facilities including Government buildings, airfields, nuclear and hydrocarbon plants.

L-3 TRL’s Land and Coast PROTECTOR systems provide medium and long range border protection in hostile or challenging environments – including desert, mountainous or jungle. High performance is guaranteed whether used in a portable or fixed application.

Land-PROTECTOR

As an overt system that can be deployed in less than 15 minutes, Land-PROTECTOR provides a comprehensive and cost-effective solution for area and perimeter security.

Its unique design offers up to 360° detection, recognition and identification by integrating radar with electro-optical sensors. Situational awareness is provided by a unique Command and Control (C²) system which can relay information to a central command facility.

Coast-PROTECTOR

A long-range system designed to provide high quality detection and recognition for coastal and land terrain. Utilising the same core C² system as Land-PROTECTOR, early identification enables fast asset deployment to counteract threats.

Both systems are scalable and can be operated remotely using a wireless network, offering one of the quickest methods to provide deployable perimeter security for military and civilian personnel operating under threat.
