New High Power Vehicle-mounted Bomb Jammer

L-3 TRL announced today the launch of its new BROADSHIELD® vehicle systems at the Defence Services Asia 2012 Exhibition and Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 16–19 April.

Exhibiting for the first time at the show, L-3 TRL will be showcasing its new range of high-power vehicle systems, which provides lifesaving protection against radio-controlled IEDs for military, law enforcement and civilian personnel worldwide.

Based on the award-winning BROADSHIELD portfolio of electronic jammers, the new vehicle systems provide powerful protection against a wide range of radio frequencies used to detonate IEDs that are still being widely used by terrorists and insurgents. As the threat from these devices continues to rise worldwide, the demand for effective countermeasures is paramount and is a key focus for many delegates attending the DSA event.

Delegates will be able to see one of the new high-power vehicle systems on the L-3 stand, 4P01 in Hall 4, where the L-3 TRL team will be on-hand to discuss the optimum configuration for a range of vehicle platforms.

With a long history in providing innovative counterterrorism solutions for the international defence and security community, L-3 TRL is looking to better serve both new and existing customers and partners within Malaysia and the surrounding regions. The exclusive launch of the new vehicle jammers at DSA comes in response to an increasing demand for this capability within the region.
